Friday, January 26, 2007 Sucks. Sucks.

I have observed, pretty nice Web2.0/RoR site on first look. Ok, let's search for some work. Input : "telecommute python php". Get 4 pages with results. Click one by one. And what I see,
80% of results is "This job is no longer available". WTF? So why it's still in the search index?

And at the end, very funny quote in their press release :
"..Jobster has 114 employees, $30 million in funding .."

Nice, it seems like all $30M was spent on ferrari's for top management.

I see your point. I wrote a site like this called You get jobs that fall off...but sometimes its tough to manage the index. A job gets added and sometimes expires on the parent site in 7 days, 30 days, 1 year....I think its pretty much a shady thing some of the underlying sites are doing.
